Statement on Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Cable Connection is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical business conduct and social responsibility. As part of this commitment, the company has adopted the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) as a guiding framework for its own code of conduct, which encompasses worker safety and fairness, environmental responsibility, and business ethics.

In alignment with this commitment, suppliers are expected to adhere to the RBA Code of Conduct as implemented by Cable Connection. It is important to note that these standards should not directly interfere with local laws in the country or countries where the supplier conducts its business operations and manufacturing facilities. This is to ensure that the operations are in compliance with ethical, legal, environmental, and social responsibilities.

Moreover, Cable Connection and its suppliers are expected to prioritize the protection of human rights and the fair treatment of all workers. This includes upholding the dignity and respect of all employees, regardless of their employment status, whether they are temporary, migrant, student, contract, direct employees, or any other type of worker. This commitment extends to all individuals involved in the supply chain, and Cable Connection expects its suppliers to share and uphold these values.

The labor standards are:

  • Provide safe working conditions for all employees and contractors.
  • Provide fair wage and benefits in accordance with local laws.
  • Operate in a manner that working hours are not to exceed the maximum set by local laws.
  • Further, a workweek should not be more than 60 hours per week, including overtime, except in emergency or unusual situations. Workers shall be allowed at least one day off every seven days.
  • Operate in a manner that receives humane treatment without abusive or threats of abusive punishment.
  • Operate in a manner that does not instill under-aged child labor, shall allow workers to freely choose employment and shall not practice the use of forced, bonded or indentured labor.
