At Cable Connection, we are dedicated to fostering enduring, integrated relationships with our suppliers, built on a foundation of trust, collaboration, and mutual success. We believe in the importance of cultivating long-term partnerships that enable us to deliver superior products and services to our customers while driving innovation and value throughout our supply chain. Supplier Quality Manual

Competing in today’s global market requires that products and services must be of high quality and competitive cost. For Cable Connection to be successful in meeting our customer requirements, we must have the processes and tools in place that will encourage and support our suppliers in meeting certain strict quality requirements. These requirements are driven from ISO13485, ISO9001, regulatory and customer requirements.

Our suppliers play an essential role in our success. To ensure this, and to share this success with our suppliers, we involve our suppliers as partners in our global success. The objective of this manual is to provide our suppliers with the basic quality and regulatory requirements that we expect them to meet.

We look forward to your support as a partner and we believe that by working together to meet these requirements, we can develop a customerā€supplier relationship that will benefit both our supplier and Cable Connection.

Conflict Minerals

Cable Connection is committed to support its customers and maintain an effective compliance program in accordance with the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). Cable Connection does not directly purchase any conflict materials. Cable Connection will continue procuring parts and raw materials from suppliers who share common values regarding human rights, ethics and environmental responsibility. Cable Connection actively works with its customers to implement the procedures, systems and reporting requirements needed to meet the guidelines. At Cable Connection, we take our role in implementing and adopting the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT), Cobalt Reporting Template (CRT), and Mica Reporting very seriously as part of our due diligence procedures used to determine the source of the conflict minerals in the assemblies, parts or components provided to us. Our approach is proactive, starting with surveying suppliers in our supply chain to understand what programs they have implemented for tracing the source of minerals provided to us or used in parts and raw materials provided to us, and to ensure that reasonable due diligence has been performed via RMI’s Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP).

Non-Disclosure Agreement

In order to establish a secure and trustworthy business relationship with our valued suppliers, we have implemented a strict policy that requires the completion of a Supplier non-disclosure agreement. This agreement is designed to protect the sensitive information and proprietary knowledge shared between our company and our suppliers, ensuring that all parties involved can confidently engage in open and transparent collaboration. By adhering to this protocol, we are able to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and safeguard the mutual interests of our business partners.

RBA Code of Conduct

At Cable Connection, we strive to maintain a high standard of ethics and integrity in all aspects of our business. Our commitment to ethical conduct is reflected in our comprehensive Business Code of Conduct, which serves as a foundation for our values and principles. This code of conduct not only shapes our organizational culture, but also guides our decision-making processes and influences our day-to-day actions. We believe that by upholding these standards, we can build trust with our customers, partners, and employees while contributing to a more sustainable and responsible business environment.

Supplier shall ensure operations are being performed in a manner that is appropriate, as it applies to their ethical, legal, environmental, and social responsibilities.  It is expected that our suppliers will uphold the human rights of workers, and to treat all employees with dignity and respect. This applies to all workers including temporary, migrant, student, contract, direct employees, and any other type of worker.

Supplier Qualification Assessment

In order to qualify a supplier and list the supplier in our Approved Vendor List, the three-step supplier assessment process must be conducted. The first step involves preparing for the assessment, which includes gathering all necessary documentation and information. The second step is to perform the assessment, which can be either an "Initial" assessment for new suppliers or a "Surveillance" assessment for existing suppliers. Finally, after the assessment is complete, there are post-assessment activities that need to be carried out, such as documenting the findings and updating the Approved Vendor List. This comprehensive process ensures that suppliers meet our standards and requirements, and allows us to maintain a high level of quality and reliability in our supply chain.
